Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information is collected when you use FreeInvoiceTemplates.org and how it is used. In short: we use Google Analytics to measure visits, and anything you type into the invoice generator stays in your own browser.
Information we collect
Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
Every page loads Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google. It sets first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_LXVB2FP348) and collects information such as the pages you visit, how you arrived, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and events such as template downloads. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses. We use these reports only to understand which templates and guides are useful. We do not use Google Analytics advertising features.
You can prevent collection by blocking cookies for this site, using a content blocker, or installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Google's own use of data is described in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Invoice generator
The invoice generator runs entirely in your browser. What you type (business and client details, line items, logo) is not sent to us or anyone else. To let you continue later, the draft is stored in your browser's local storage under the key fit-invoice-draft-v1. Use "Clear all" in the generator, or clear your browser's site data, to delete it.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message, and use it only to reply.
Hosting and fonts
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect against abuse. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends a request (including your IP address) to Google's servers.
What we don't do
- We don't require accounts or collect email addresses for downloads.
- We don't show advertising and don't sell personal information.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or US state privacy laws), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data and to object to processing. Analytics data is held by Google; you can stop its collection using the options above. For anything else, email [email protected] with "Privacy" in the subject line.
Changes
We will update this page if our practices change, and revise the date above.
